What we collect
When you create an account, we store your email and any profile details you choose to share. When you use Recipe Runner, we store the recipes you save, your shopping lists, cooking history, notes, ratings, and favorite stores — so the app feels like your own cookbook.
Data we collect and why
For transparency — and to match our Google Play Data Safety disclosure — here is exactly what we collect, why, and whether it is shared:
Email address
Account creation, sign-in, and account-related communication.
Saved recipes
Stored so your cookbook syncs across your devices.
Shopping lists
Stored to build and price your lists at your chosen stores.
Cooking history, notes & ratings
Stored to personalize your cookbook and remember what you've made.
All of this data is linked to your account, is used only to run the app, and is never sold. You can delete it at any time (see “Your choices” below). We do not collect precise location, and we don't use your data for third-party advertising.
How we use it
We use your data only to make the app work: showing your recipes, calculating prices at your stores, syncing across devices, and improving the product. We do not sell your data.
Third-party services
We use trusted providers for hosting, authentication, payments, and grocery price lookups. They process data on our behalf under their own privacy commitments.
Your choices
You can export or delete your data anytime by emailing hello@reciperunner.net. Deleting your account removes your recipes, lists, and personal notes from our systems.
